Prince & Bates, a respected opticians in the heart of Burton upon Trent, were undergoing a full shop makeover.
They wanted a fresh, modern look that would be both stylish and durable, and that’s where we came in. Our task was to provide new flooring that would tie in perfectly with their updated design and stand the test of time.

We were asked to handle the flooring for the entire shop. After discussing the options, we decided on LX Hausys LVT planks for the main shop area. These are not only highly durable but also look fantastic, which was exactly what the client wanted.
For the staircase, we installed carpet tiles and stair nosings. The carpet tiles help to reduce the noise of footsteps going up and down the stairs. Stair nosings are essential for a safe environment, whilst looking great.
The project was carefully coordinated with other ongoing works to ensure everything went smoothly. Our senior fitter, Noddy, led the job from start to finish. With his years of experience and keen eye for detail, Noddy made sure everything was done to the highest standard. Thanks to his hard work and dedication, we completed the job within a week, keeping everything on schedule.

The new flooring has really brought the opticians to life. The combination of LX Hausys LVT planks and carpet tiles has given the shop a sleek, modern look that fits perfectly with the new interior design. More importantly, it’s created a welcoming environment where customers feel comfortable and well cared for.
We’re pleased to say the project was a great success, and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.
