New Work, Old Memories
Every project at FLR Group is a testament to our dedication and craftsmanship. This summer, our journey took us to Wyndcliffe Primary School, a place nestled close to our very first office in Small Heath.
The Challenge
The existing vinyl tiles in the school's corridors had aged considerably. Their once-promising hue had dulled, and the overall aesthetic felt out of sync with the school’s dynamic energy. Additionally, an entrance door posed a unique challenge, demanding special attention.
The Flooring
Choosing the Right Material: We decided on Polyflex by Polyflor. It's not just flooring, it’s safety and quality rolled into one.
Teamwork at its Finest: Mobilising a team of 4 expert fitters ensured the task was completed efficiently and to our meticulous standards.
Modernisation: Out went the outdated tiles and in came the sleek, minimal grey tiles. The transformation was not just functional, but also contemporary and stylish.
Focused Attention: That problematic entrance door? We made sure it integrated seamlessly with the rest of the corridors, ensuring consistency and elegance.
Efficiency is Key
Understanding the importance of minimal disruption in an educational environment, we meticulously planned to complete the project during the summer holidays.
We've Got It Covered
All in all, we fully transformed six floors. The corridors now look fresh and new, ready to welcome back students and staff for the new term.
At FLR Group, it's more than just laying flooring; it's about understanding the soul of a space and enhancing it.
