Waiting Rooms & Corridors
Some of the most heavily used and important rooms in any hospital, waiting rooms and corridors are the pathways through the hospital. A combination of patients, staff, guests, wheelchairs, beds create a massive and heavy footfall on the floors.
We work with hardwearing commercial vinyl flooring, which uses harder and thicker outer layers to cope with this increased wear and tear. Some of these floors also have excellent acoustic properties, which help reduce the noise and reverberations of footsteps.
Beyond functionality, we can also help specify and design a flooring that creates a calm environment. We can't prevent the chaos of a busy hospital, but we can make it a more pleasant place to be
Safety Flooring
Some rooms require a much higher standard of anti-slip or slip-resistant flooring, such as toilets, wet rooms and operating rooms. We can work with you to ensure that the floors in each environment meet the standards required for a safe and clean surgery.
